Welcome to the 2008 Pennsylvania State Pond Tour!
This is an annual, self-guided tour of backyard water features
in Central PA.. It is our strong belief that EVERYBODY
wants a water garden - some people just don’t know it yet! So
the goal of this annual Pond Tour is to raise awareness of the
joys of watergardening, as well as to show off what can be
done with backyard pond designs.

This year, around 24 of central PA’s most beautiful water
features will be open to the public. Many of these features
have never been on a pond or garden tour before. These
features will cover a wide range of size and style.
There will be backyard ponds with happy koi and
goldfish. And there will be some large ponds of 50,000
gallons or more. Even though there will be some variation
of style and size, there will be one common feature: Every
pond will have a soothing, gurgling stream and/or waterfalls!

We invite you all to take a few hours out of your busy schedule
to tour these local backyard aquatic retreats! The price is $12 per
adult.Children 12 and under are free. All proceeds go to local charity.
